EPL: Last Four Bidders To Replace Abramovich As Chelsea Boss Confirmed

US-based investment bank Wren Group has narrowed down all potential buyers of Chelsea Football Club to a shortlist of four.

According to The Athletic, the shortlisted bids came from Todd Boehly, David Blitzer and Josh Harris, the Ricketts family, and Boston Celtics owner Stephen Pagliuca.

This comes a day after the Saudi media conglomerate was abandoned by U.S. banks.

The Rennes Group, representing Chelsea, informed the group of the decision.

Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has put the Premier League club up for sale after being approved by the British government.

Bids to buy the Stamford Bridge kit closed last Friday.

Chelsea will sell for more than £3bn, making the west London club the most lucrative sale in sporting history.
